Tuatha de Danann (Thoo a Du-non). The Children of Danu.
Warrior-Gods of first-century Celtic lore, these mighty beings briefly ruled ancient Ireland before being banished to the fey worlds; the Sidhe, becoming legends in the mists of time. The wailing Banshee, the enigmatic horned-god of the wood… all awaiting their return.
Morrígu
The Morrigu (or Mórrígan). The Phantom Queen. Goddess of Battle, Goddess of Fate.
A shape-shifter, a jealous lover. The Dagda’s beloved queen. Fierce and crazed in war, it was her sorcery that drove the Formorian army into the ocean at The Second Battle of Magh Tuireadh. It was she that foretold Cú Chulainn’s doom and upon the battlefield it was she, in the form of a great black crow, that sat upon his shoulder and proclaimed his death.
